Tomy Drift / Light Package

Used to have the Aero RC types, still do. And tried drifting them. It was very hard, have to get a powerful motor, initiate a inertia drift put doesn't last, becomes a u-turn move! :rofl:

Yeah bro, 1/24 or 1/25 scale. Nabili ko dati yung Aero type, sale P399.95 lang! Tapos customizable pa!

Yung Aero RC 2wd, ewan ko lang yung Drift package! Sana 4wd! Kunsabagay kahit 2wd bast nagsasa-sideways di ba! :happy:

yup, naalala ko nga to... 8 months ago, naging available to sa s.m. fairview kaso yung oddesy and crown lang ang meron sila. nakita ko narin yung drift tires nito, hard plastic like what racenut is using in his micro rs4. ok din to parang xmods.. pero cheaper version

Wala pa nito dito Bro. Yung Aero RC's yung nakita mo. Eto site ng mga minodify nila! :thumbsup:

Aero RC modified

Meron ako nung crown, toyota Bb, di matandaan yung hatchback type kulay green. Tinanong ko na rin dun sa distributor ng Tomy dito Bankee, wala pa silang dumating na ganito.

Sana magkaroon na para drift na din kahit sa kusina! :grin:

Plus just got my Q-STEER today! :hooray:

Got the PANDA TRUENO! :grin:

the Tomy Aero RC Drift Package is a 4WD 1/28 scale RC drifter car with the ff features...

-4WD transmission system with a locked rear axle (!) Adjustable front Camber (!!) and best of all... Front One Way (!!!)
-the kit also comes with a set of drift tires and grip tires
-i talked to Bankee, the distributor of Takara Tomy in the philippines...
they said if demand is good here, they will import it. they had a hit with the Qsteers so maybe we can convince them to do this...

would make a great outreach tool for those who cant afford to buy the big drift cars...

but with these features in the cars, im thinking the price tag on these would be around maybe 1k to 1.5k...

during TAGCOM, me and arwin had a chat with the head honcho of the marketing department of Bankee...

apparently, Bankee and Takara-Tomy would like to import these in the philippines but are hesitant with the sluggish sales of the last few RC/s they sold here such as the Tomy Aero RC (old version), the Tomy Aero RC plane and the new CAUL...

the Bankee guy told me that he can send in a "Pre-Order" for a number of these Aero RC Drift Cars for us in PRCD to use and demo in future events...

the "bad" news is the cost... the kits cost approximately between PHP1,000 to PHP1,500 but the kit is well sorted already for drift or grip racing.

The Bankee guy will send me all the info i would need concerning the kits. I told him that we can be called upon to have drift demos with these kits during toys or collectors conventions or any event that will have a bankee booth.

now... i need a show of hands. who is interested in joining the "Pre-Order" batch to purchase one of these babies?

choice of bodies are the ff:
-Toyota AE86 Trueno
-Mazda FD3S RX7
-Nissan 180SX
-Nissan R34 Skyline GTR

i cant confirm it yet until i have the info from Bankee but i think Tomy also released official D1GP team cars of the Trueno, 180SX, and RX7...

pls list here your handle, real name, and choice of kit. as of now, the choices are only the 4 listed above... the D1GP versions di pa sure...
